Why Rebuild Iraq?

Taking place in Baghdad on 27-28 June 2021 and organised in close collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Office, and Iraq’s National Investment Commission, Rebuild Iraq is dedicated to showcasing project opportunities for multinational companies in sectors other than oil and gas, supporting Iraq in its mission to diversify its economy and spur foreign direct investment.

Ministerial Iraq

Rebuild Iraq supports Iraqi Ministries in unveiling strategically important tenders and project opportunities, providing a platform for multinational companies to access key decisionmakers from the government, and secure business opportunities. In 2021 Rebuild Iraq will focus on business and investment opportunities in key priority sectors of the economy, including:

Rebuild Iraq will feature government and business leaders from Iraq, the MENA region, and around the world, together with top executives from multinational companies, as well as sections of the financial and investment communities. In parallel to the main session, there will be a series of one-on-one meetings between government officials and the management of participating companies, as well as partnering between multinational companies and Iraqi Joint Venture partners, agents, and distributors.

Virtual Format

Rebuild Iraq will follow all the social distancing guidelines required by the Ministry of Health in Iraq. For participants unable to travel to Baghdad, the conference will additionally be broadcast online. There will be opportunities for participants to enact 1-2-1 meetings with other attendees, both online and in Baghdad, as well as virtually exhibit products and services.
